I am always busy writing poems,
short stories and children's books.
Currently I am working on a
poem entitled I dream of a house.
I am also working on the original
paintings and drawings for a picture
book. I am also enrolled in two classes
this Fall. I am taking a writing
course, and a HTML course. I am
hoping to have a new more updated
website soon after the fall term ends.
When I am done schooling I hope to
go into business for my self and make
my own webpage, and write stories for
kids. I was previously a nanny for
seven years, and I use inspiration from
those years of caring for kids.

My little poetry spot

Growing things is what I do ....

In addition to painting, writing, hanging out with kids...I have found that planting seeds is a wonderful experience. Some people say a gardener has to be a little MAD to plant a teeny tiny seed in the dirt, and water it and expect something beautiful or life changing to come out of it.
I think to garden is to learn patience. And maybe
perseverance as well. This summer I planted sunflowers, pansies, petunias, bonsai trees, blue daisies, blue fescue (the blue fescue and daisies are just seedlings right now) I grew safron crocii, gladioulas, grass, carnations, mint, basil, oregano,
lemon verbena, water plants, and many more.

I purchased quite a few
seeds from the seedrack. The
link to their page is the
picture to the right of one
of my glads.
